Meet our doctors:
Kevin C. Lee, M.D.
Dr. Kevin Lee graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University, then attended the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Lee specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, small-incision sutureless cataract surgery, and laser vision correction. He is certified to perform laser (or femto) cataract surgery. He has served the San Francisco community since 2007 and is the past chief of ophthalmology at St. Mary's Medical Center.
Dr. Lee teaches ophthalmic surgery at California Pacific Medical Center and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (ASCRS).
In his free time, he enjoys reading, photography, home improvement projects and is an avid cyclist.
Jasmine Chen, O.D.
Dr. Jasmine (Huanjing) Chen has been taking care of eyes in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2014. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from UC Berkeley and completed a post-doctoral residency in cornea and contact lenses at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. In 2017, she was awarded fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry (AAO). Her expertise includes the management of irregular corneas using specialty scleral, hybrids, and gas permeable contact lenses.
Dr. Chen completed clinical externships at Callahan Eye Hospital and VA hospitals in San Francisco, Reno, Miami, where she trained alongside cornea, oculoplastic, retina specialists, and practiced full scope optometry in the management of common eye diseases such as dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Prior to optometry, she earned her B.S. with honors in molecular and cell biology from Stanford University.
Dr. Chen is passionate about treatment of dry eyes and reduction of eye strain using the latest advancements in contact lenses, digital lenses, and orthokeratology. She is a current member of the California Optometric Association (COA), American Optometric Association (AOA), and the San Francisco County Optometric Association. Dr. Chen is an active volunteer, supporting initiatives such as VOSH and Bay Area vision screenings.
Ashley Katsikos, O.D.
Dr. Ashley Katsikos graduated with honors from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where she graduated Cum Laude with her Doctorate in Optometry. She completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the esteemed UC Berkeley School of Optometry.
Dr. Katsikos is glaucoma certified and certified in prescribing therapeutic pharmaceutical agents for the treatment and management of a full spectrum of ocular disease. She specializes in diagnosis and management of ocular disease, low vision, and is very experienced in the treatment and management of Dry Eye Syndrome. She completed a 9-month long internship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida as an assistant research coordinator of a clinical research project that studied Dry Eye Syndrome in a veteran population.
Dr. Katsikos is also experienced with fitting a full spectrum of soft contact lenses, including spherical, toric, monovision, and multifocal. She is also able to perform specialty contact lens fittings for patients with irregular corneal curvature. She is fluent in Japanese and is able to perform comprehensive eye exams in Japanese. In her free time, she enjoys doing home improvement projects, crafting, bike riding, and hiking.
